As an artist and poet, David has been intrigued with the diversity and
color that landscapes offer. He believes that the landscape and the
human effect on the environment offer the artist diversity of forms,
textures and colors. David also enjoys working with architectural
imagery and its unity, or lack of unity, with the surrounding
landscape. Over the years, his paintings and photography vary in
style from realistic to abstract and nonrepresentational. He finds that New
England, and the western and southwestern United States provide diverse
and contrasting subject matter. David is a free spirit setting out
to develop his own style in painting and in the new art forms
inspired by technology and objects around him. He has now offered
a series of watercolors that are both realistic and abstract in
nature that include the mountain ranges found in Nevada.
Also represented on this site is a brief photographic study of wild horses,
selected poetry and video and panoramic applets
that depict scenes in the United States and other countries.
All artwork on these pages is framed and may be purchased by contacting the artist
via email or telephone. Some of the pieces represent one work in
a related series. David lives in the Las Vegas area of Nevada with his wife Beth.
